What format are the templates in?
All templates are delivered in Microsoft Word (.docx) and Excel (.xlsx) formats. They are fully editable — you can add your vessel name, flag state, and operational procedures directly. No special software required.
When will templates be available to purchase?
We're finalising our documentation templates now. Register your interest via the contact form or sign up for our newsletter to be notified as soon as they launch.
Do you offer custom documentation?
Yes, for vessels with specific requirements or larger projects, we can create custom documentation. Use the contact form to describe what you need.
Are the templates updated?
Templates are updated when regulations change. If you've purchased a template and a significant update is released, you'll receive the updated version at no extra cost.
Are templates suitable for my flag state?
Templates are designed to meet requirements of the Red Ensign Group (Cayman Islands, BVI, Gibraltar, Bermuda, Isle of Man, UK), Marshall Islands, Malta, and Bahamas flag states. The underlying regulations (MARPOL, ISM Code) are international, and companion guides note any flag state-specific considerations.
Do I need technical knowledge to use the templates?
Basic Microsoft Word skills are helpful for customization. Templates include guidance notes and instructions to help with completion and vessel-specific modifications.
